Here it is!
To find your packing list, go onto your profile and click on the tab “My Mobilization Info” and then on “Preparation.” From there, scroll down the page and you will see “Packing Information.” This will give you a general idea of what to pack and here is a few more specifics for your trip:
Mess Kit
Sleeping Bag- remember that it will be very hot. Get something like a liner or small light weight sleeping bag.
Sleeping Pad
Headlamp
Clothing is very, VERY, conservative and will need to be purchased once in India. The cost of this is somewhere between $3 and $12. You will get your clothing tailored to fit you and everything. Dont worry about getting a whole buch of skirts before hand. You will need long pants, and shirts that cover your shoulders at all time. I would bring one scarf at least...you can purchase very nice, very inexpensive things in India so waiting until you get there is OK.
This is straight from the contact:
Clothing must be extremely modest-no tank tops of similar attire. Ladies must always cover shoulders, upper arms and legs. Both men and women must always have legs covered in public (no shorts or short skirts).
Lodging will look like a guest house and or dorm style housing. You may also stay in at the orphanage.
